The Southwest family of companies began in 1987 as Southwest Doors & Hardware Ltd., and we have been successfully servicing the commercial, industrial and institutional markets of the Southwest Ontario region for over 30 years.
Our business first began by offering hollow metal doors, wood doors, hardware and automatic operators for the commercial, institutional and industrial sectors. In working with our customers during the building process we realized that we could offer even more services and truly add value as a one stop shop for every opening. In 2007 we expanded our services to include aluminum storefronts, glass & glazing and curtainwall, thus began Southwest Windows & Glass.
With this expanded team we achieved a seamless partnership that alleviates the stress of dealing with multiple trades. Working behind the scenes and together we design, deliver and install frames, doors, hardware, automatic operators, access control, toilet partitions, washroom accessories, barrier free washrooms, entranceways, windows and curtainwall.
In 2016 we expanded our service to the Tri-Cities area with Southwest Door Automatics Ltd. (SDA). With the same driven focus, the team at SDA services, designs, delivers and installs all your commercial opening needs while utilizing the full team in London for custom fabrication.

A Family-Run Company
Southwest Doors started in 1987 in a small plaza in East London by Gilles and Charmaine Geoffroy. They quickly grew to a staff of 10. Over the next couple of decades they expanded unit by unit in the plaza, gathering clients by continuously exceeding expectations and always delivering what they promised. With their daughter Chantal and son-in-law Chris as part of the team, their legacy will continue and we are proud to remain a family-owned company.

We Operate a 28,000 Square Foot Facility
Our current operations are based in London, operating in a state of the art custom built 28,000 square foot facility located next to the 401 highway. We are actively tendering and have a very busy walk-in trade with our order desk. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming atmosphere for every potential client that walks through our door.
As proud members of the Door & Hardware Institute and the London & District Construction Association, we continually participate in many trade shows, events and training courses to keep our skill set current and wide-spread.
